Weekend Campus Tour
Description
The Office of Admissions offers Campus Tours from 8:00am-12:00pm on Saturdays throughout the school year. Visits can start no later than 11:00am. While we try our best to accommodate everything you wish to experience, we cannot guarantee faculty visits or Performing Arts auditions on Saturdays. We can almost always arrange for these items Monday-Friday. What we can guarantee our Saturday visitors is a personalized chat with their Admissions Counselor and a campus tour with a Jimmie Ambassador. We will still try to schedule students a time with faculty as well. Students who wish to guarantee a meeting with faculty, sitting in on a class, or completing any sort of audition should strongly consider scheduling a weekday visit.
Questions & Answers
Campus visits take a minimum of two hours. If you want to meet with athletics, audition for performing arts, eat lunch, or sit in on a class, please plan for longer.
Parking on campus is free and plentiful! You will park in the lot of the Reiland Fine Arts Center, which is the first building on your right as you enter the main (west) gates of campus. We will meet you in the Unruh Sheldon Building, which is across the street.
On Saturdays, we guarantee you'll have a chance to meet with your personal Admissions Counselor and tour campus with a Jimmie Ambassador. We will also try to schedule a time for you to meet with a faculty member in your field of interest, though we can't always guarantee their availability. The same is true for Performing Arts and auditions. Students who want to guarantee a meeting with faculty, sitting in on a class, and/or auditioning should plan to visit campus during the week.
Visits are planned specially for YOU. It takes a minimum of two business days to confirm all parts of your visit. We try our best to email your itinerary out no less than 24 hours in advance.
We try our best to make your time on campus the most fulfilling it can be! Sometimes, though, professors or certain coaches aren't available. If you want to sit in on a class, you'll need to visit M-F Between September-April.

Yes! If you'd like to attend any Jimmie athletic event or UJ concert, play, or performance while you're here, simply let us know and we will provide you with free passes.
Jamestown has many great hotels including the Fairfield Inn & Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn Express, and Gladstone Inn. Mention you're visiting UJ for possible discounts!
Did you sign up as a Business major but recently decide to study Education? Let us know and we'll try our best to update your professor visit and add or subtract any other necessary items to your itinerary!
At this time the University does not require masks. However, if you and your family would prefer, we will make sure everyone involved in your visit is masked. Some members of our faculty do request masks during their portion of the visit.
